Elephants of Boston, MA, US (2011 - present) Elephants is an indie rock quartet from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in the summer of 2011 by guitarists Ryan Young and Lauren Garant, the band started as an acoustic duo. They made their full-band debut in the spring of 2012 with the addition of drummer Mike Cashin and bassist Meagan Day. Their first full-length studio album was digitally released on April 16, 2013 and is available via Bandcamp. Elephants has appeared in The Somerville News, Dig Boston, The Boston Hassle, Shakefist Magazine, The Deli, Boston Band Crush, and the Kids Like You And Me blog.
