She completed her extensive music studies with a vocal emphasis, and graduated with honors. Egine continued to enter (and win) numerous domestic vocal competitions. One such victory earned her a spot to participate in an international competition held in Los Angeles. With 75,000 applicants from 40 different countries, The World Championship of Performing Arts represented her first opportunity to be heard on an international stage. She ultimately took home a pair of gold medals in the Contemporary & World categories. Incredibly, the 17-year-old Egine, was also awarded the ultimate prize by being proclaimed the Grand Champion Performer in her age category. Inspired by her successes, Egine began to showcase her talent more widely.
It didn't take long to receive the opportunity she was looking for. By the very next year, Egine began receiving offers from production companies worldwide. Egine and her team of advisors believed in the possibilities represented by American production company Ego Works Music. The principals at Ego Works realized the unique qualities that made Egine different from the majority of vocalists in the marketplace.
They wanted to embrace and refine that uniqueness. 2010, saw Egine and her production team start work on her debut album. In between the long hours in the studio writing and recording, Egine found time to post some videos of vocal covers to You Tube. The results were very gratifying; in the first month, her video channel shoot into the top 50 most subscribed you tube channels of new artists. Combined, her videos are now in excess of 1,000,000 views. After taking some time out to perform and receive recognition as the Best New Artist at the Armenian Music Awards, Egine has recently unveiled her most recent music video: A live In-Studio performance of the original track ‘Black Panther’. So far, it has been met with great success climbing the You Tube ‘Popular Videos Around the Web Chart’.
