Shortly thereafter Cobra was approached for his remixes from legendary German label ZYX Records and leading worldwide importer/exporter record label CAPP Records. Initially contracted to produce for their in-house artists; Cobra’s style became very diverse depending on the projects needs and artists expectations. His remixes ranged anywhere from commercial dance & techno to Cobra’s signature style trance format. Many have referred to Cobra’s own sound as a massive epic-trance sound that rains down on the club dance floor. An exceptional expert precision within Cobra’s dynamic production style that draws in a variety of elements, both electronic and acoustic, crafting each track with sheer intensity.
This is the sound of DJ Cobra. In August 2005, Peter finished his track called "M.O.N.I" which got very positive feedback from various A&Rs and DJs worldwide. This track was remixed by more than 40 producers in "Remix Contest" ran by DJ Cobra and CAPP Records. Best 5 remixes were included on a Maxi CD "M.O.N.I" which was released (December 2005) in all major digital stores starting with Apple iTunes. In 2007, DJ Cobra remixed the track by Summerchannel called "A Thousand Miles". The remix was released by Libra Rising and supported by many top DJs including #1 Armin Van Buuren in his ASOT radio show 297 and 299! The song was topping the charts in many digital stores worldwide, including iTunes and BeatPort. Later, DJ Cobra's trance releases were included in legendary "50 Techno Trance Anthems" compilations under various artist names such as Tunnel Alliance, Club Sound Allstars etc.
His remix of "Sandstorm" became the most downloadable dance song for consecutive 3 months in iTunes music store (USA - Dance chart).
