Disguise The Tide

Disguise The Tide is made up of one member, Max Edermaniger, who sings and plays guitar. Max Edemaniger was born on the Isle of Wight in the south of England in September 1992. He'd started playing guitar at the age of 10, when his older brother got a guitar. Now 14, he has recorded 3 EP's, 1 which was recorded when he was 13. Max likes to keep it pretty DIY, doing all the recording, producing and distribution by himself. The recording sounds alittle off as it's only recorded by a microphone into a laptop, going onto a music track programme. Read more on Last.fm

Max likes to keep it pretty DIY, doing all the recording, producing and distribution by himself. The recording sounds alittle off as it's only recorded by a microphone into a laptop, going onto a music track programme. He wrote his first song for the new EP in early November 2006, named 'The Turnout Was Pretty Rough'. He grew up around a fairly music orientated family.

His dad played guitar, as did his brother, and his mum played bits of odd instruments. Max has always been in interested in music, even from an early age. He has a wide range of music taste, ranging from acoustic to metal to rap to pop-punk. He used to play guitar and do vocals in the band 'VictimToTheParty', though they split up in 2005, since then, Max has been playing on his own. He had his first very short solo project 'Runway 27', which was bassically an instrumental project, which he seems to have given up on, though, may carry on with it if he has the time. He released his first set of covers in May 2006, under his name 'Max Edermaniger', but that soon changed to 'Disguise The Tide' when he released his second free 'EP', he then re-released the first set under the new name. Over the last month, he has been concentrating on writing songs for his new EP, and hopefully, by next year, he should be able to release another. Max set up his own label 'Pinpoint Music' to release his CD's on, but soon signed pop-punk local band 'The Summer Hiatus' who he has been friends with for awhile. Read more on Last.fm.
