Originated from southern Buenos Aires, Despierta Tu Mente begins the journey back in 2003, when punk and melodic hardcore were gaining more presence in the scene. In June 2006, they edit their first debut record “Simple Melodia”, under the wings of Javier Suarez, who worked on the mixing and supervision. Javier has also been involved with bands such as: Clinch, Nive Lives, Shaila, etc. No Rules records took care of the mastering. In November of that same year, they participated in the complilation album, “Punk-Under 3″. In 2007, they take part of Jimmy Jazz rec2′s compilation album, under the label “Lo Que Soñamos” and also a new digital compilation album in the US. In September of 2008, they strike back with “Desde Adentro”; a 5 song EP under Javier Suarez’s supervision once again. This EP shows just a small portion of what their next full lenght album will proudly be. Their music has been to many places in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, the east coast, Rosario, Santa Fe and also Porto Alegre, Guaiba (Brazil) and Santiago (Chile).
