Onetime referred to as Coffee House Rock and other times referred to as Classic Rock done Modern, Delusions of Mediocrity is a breath of fresh air among scream into the microphone bands. Five guys, Adam Gillespie on Vocal & Guitar, Matthew E Eadie on Guitar, Jayson Umlor on Guitar, Scott Stewart on Bass, and Dan Stewart on Drums & Vocals, all hail from musical backgrounds. Matt and Adam played in the high school band together, trombone and trumpet respectively.

Dan played percussion and trumpet while Scott played tuba in their high school band. Adam, Matt and Jayson all played guitar together in their previous band Between The Temples. They've played a few shows in the Grand Rapids Michigan area including Radio Tavern and The Rocker. In 2005 and 2006 we opened every night of the Shag Studios Battle of the Bands and we've played a couple of shows at Mocha-n-Music in Hudsonville. Currently they are looking for more shows to play.

With venues hard to find and the busy lives of men in their early 30's they find it hard to get out and play. They do get together once a week to hang out, write and record music.
