David Altair is Scottish ambient, electronica, psychedelic, experimental producer and multi-instrumentalist. all of David's solo work is now on Bandcamp http://davidaltair.bandcamp.com www.myspace.com/davidaltair David works with soundscape, spoken word, live instruments and synthesizers. He has been producing music for a number of projects now since 2001 David's style changes with his mood and is recognised mainly as floating between intense, distorted electric guitar to avant-garde style minimal piano pieces and performance poetry. He has been producing music for a number of projects now since 2001 David's style changes with his mood and is recognised mainly as floating between intense, distorted electric guitar to avant-garde style minimal piano pieces and performance poetry. David has spent some time now working on collaboration projects along side his solo work. He has worked with female vocalists Lilium and Katja on the 2007 / 2008 Chameleon Jersey project which was featured on Tom Robinson's BBC6 radio show and also featured in the line up for Tigerfest 2008 David is now working with poet and record label producer Garry franks (The Electronic Poet Laureate). The album entitled I Travel (David Altair and The electronic Poet Laureate) they have been working was released on BOWL in February 2010.
