Mr. Bolshoy’s recitals are frequently broadcast on CBC Radio, and he has also appeared in two documentary films for the Bravo! series The Classical Now. He regularly performs solo and chamber music recitals in Canada’s most prestigious venues, including the Glenn Gould Studio, the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts, the National Art Centre, and Vancouver’s Chan Centre among others. Among recent orchestral appearances are concertos by Rodrigo, Ponce, Kernis, and Castelnuovo-Tedesco with orchestras across North America including: Mexico City Philharmonic, Toronto Philharmonia, New Mexico Symphony, Vancouver Philharmonic, Peterborough Symphony, Huntsville festival, Red Deer Symphony, Oakville Symphony Etobicoke Philharmonic as well as the Manitoba and Ottawa Chamber Orchestras. Upcoming engagements include a cross-Canada recital tour for Jeunesses Musicales, concerto appearances with the Edmonton Symphony, the Kamloops Symphony and the Symphonie of the Kootenays Mr. Bolshoy teaches guitar at Concordia University in Montreal and regularly offers masterclasses to guitar societies and educational institutions internationally.
He also frequently performs outreach and educational concerts for young people.
