During solo performances he is able to showcase his guitar playing and vocal talents, letting the intricacies of his songwriting shine while infusing cover songs with his distinctive sound. The power of his performances can be heard with his full band on the 2008 album, Sight Lines. As a full time musician, Fisk has worked hard at every aspect of being a “DIY” independent artist. He’s found it to be an inspiring challenge wearing many hats. Yes, he is the singer and the songwriter but finds the time, energy and talent to manage tasks from being the admin to acting as CEO of his own brand.
Playing as many as 15 shows a month, his around the clock dedication to music shines through in every song. On June 28th, 2011, Fisk will release "Bruises From The Backseat", his first solo EP which will feature the award winning song, “A Thousand Love Songs”. The album will also include inspired collaborations with some of DC’s finest musicians; such as cellist Katie Chambers and local legend, Ted Garber. The timeless topic of love - lost and found - is covered with songs that evoke all of the emotions that come along with finding (and sometimes losing) someone you love.
