The band formed in 2010, when songwriters Matthew Charles and John Woitovich merged their creative forces into one musical endeavor. Upon adding percussionist Tracey Kroll and violinist Anne Maiale, Corners was formed. The band is currently working on recording their debut album and playing shows around the northeastern United States. -The solo project of ex-Terra Terra Terra member Travis Cooper.

Citing such influences as Damien Rice, Andy Hull, Ben Gibbard, Rocky Votolato, and Dustin Kensrue, Corners outlines the originality and rawness of folk rock.
