Corner Rapper Steve or CRS (Real Name: Steven Hollis) was born in St. Louis, MO. As a Baby he was forced to move along with his parents to Germany, where he started listening to all sorts of music genres and eventually found his passion in Hip Hop music. One of the earliest idols of CRS was N.W.A., Gucci Crew and Coolio. Later he concentrated on specific artists like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy-E. A big influence on CRS was (not surprisingly) Eminem. Unfortunately not everything he rapped also made sense, so he started writing sentences. Then 4, 8, 16 sentences and eventually he started writing LYRICS and develeoped an own style he liked to refer to as Crossover Lyrics or BACK-SLAP-RAP. CRS knew right then: He wants to combine real Hip Hop attitude and beats with the finest electronical elements and crossover lyrics. So in April 2003 he took all the money he got and bought everything he needed for producing own beats and started making his own tracks. Finally in July 2008 he finished his first Mini-Album: The Corner EP Have fun ! Read more on Last.fm.
