Jesper Nilsson Born in Perstorp 1974, raised in Kristianstad, Sweden For Jesper music have always been his biggest interest, his childhood was filled with old Syntpop, Industrial music. He started playing the Trumpet at age 10, but later traded it in for a Casio keyboard, then he started playing, imitating his idols like Depeche Mode. Jesper Nilsson Born in Perstorp 1974, raised in Kristianstad, Sweden For Jesper music have always been his biggest interest, his childhood was filled with old Syntpop, Industrial music. He started playing the Trumpet at age 10, but later traded it in for a Casio keyboard, then he started playing, imitating his idols like Depeche Mode. From the Casio keyboard he then bought a Korg M1, which had a small sequencer, 100’s of tracks were made with the killer workstation at the time. First collaboration was with Mattias Nybble & Mika Rossi in the synthpop/industrial band “Endless Shame” But then electronic music took different shifts, Jesper being tired of being associated with Neo-Nazi’s who were infiltrating the Synth scene in Sweden, found interest in Rave Music, some time spent working with a few friends with Hiphop, in Swedish (skåne accent). And then came Goa trance, first track was a remix of a Sven Väth track, 1992! Rather than lyrics, he made melodies as the Korg M1, really didn’t have much analog feeling. Late 1990’s he began to build his own studio, bascially a cheap pc, soundblaster compatible soundcard (noise & hiss), Yamaha An1x, and a Clavia Micromodular. From the Modular he learned modular synthesis, also Analog synthesis. And he found a mint condition Korg ms-20 for a good price, and its still in fine shape. He first met Rasmus Alanne (Etnoscope) in the late 90’s when he left Sölvesborg for a room in a student facility. They shared the same entusiasm in electronic music and having a good time. Once Jesper was asked if he wanted to join Etnoscope, but he declined cause he wanted to develop his own sound. However Jesper have been in the background with advices and some cooperation with the band and giving constructive critism about the music.

He played live with Etnoscoep alot of times including Boom Festival 2010 opening. Under strange circumstances he met Liam Dorff, who was busy moving in furniture to his new apartment. They also shared the same love for electronic music and could discuss it day and night. As it was no turning back to Etnoscope for full membership, Rasmus & Jesper started a new band. They named it Pusherstreet, the idea to work for a Free Christiania. Later on Jesper convinced Rasmus that Liam should join the band and so it took off quickly. First official release was on the very first Panzar Produktonz compilation “Progressive Bunker” with his minimal progressive track “Methbaron”. Jesper left Pusherstreet after a while, and Panzar Produktionz for a solo career. One of Jespers friends from Germany, once played his tracks for Dustin Henze (Asarualim/Coldfusion) in a car on the highway in Germany. At that time a new label was started, BAM/FAM Rec, Binary Audio Machinery/Fractal Audio Machinery Records. He asked his musical friends, like Patara, Mantra Flow and of course Asarualim & Coldfusion, if they could do a remix of a 10 year old track called “Neutralizer”. Each track going into an entirely different direction than the others, as his friends are devoted and had true skills. Today Jesper works for BAM Rec and recently also back to Panzar Produktionz. A new remix EP with Asarualim is on its way, slowly but surely, also featuring an upcoming Panzar Produktionz Compilation. He have ideas of starting sideprojects with a little faster, more twisted music, nothing’s impossible. He is thankful for his special interest, as life in a smalltown was far from good, in many ways, he always turned back to the music, avoiding getting into trouble, a lifesaver.
