Cloudcub's soundscape bridges the space between electronica and post-rock incorporating acoustic instruments and (sometimes) childlike vocals/lyrics. By turns melancholic and sweet, this is music to daydream to!!!! Based loosely around Central-North, London UK, cloudcub are live electronica act. The roots of Cloudcub can be traced back in the autumn of 2004, with the instrumental compositions of Filtig and Thom. Since July, the 3 of them rehearsed and tried to give form and shape to those songs as a "live" organism. As a band, they felt the need to perform live !! Endless auditions with violinists,all failed miserably, but in the end, the first "preview" gig in front of 25 difficult to please people, inevitably took place with the 4 of us and no violin...It was a great success though.. On May 9th 2006 did their first proper gig, in Colour bar in Camden. The music and the visuals were all received with great pleasure from the audience! Currently working on their debut full length LP that take shape this autumn 2007...
