Claudia Sorvillo, songwriter living in southern Italy, started her activity as a singer when she was a child. She studied singing with Cristina Florio (teacher of many artists of the italian scene), and enriched her live experience during the years taking part of several festivals, and singing competitions: - The "Festival degli Sconosciuti" of the Italian singer Teddy Reno - "L'Accademia della canzone di Sanremo" - The "Centocittà RCA" prize (broadcasted on the Italian national tv channel Rai 2)reaching the second place and winning the "Best Voice Festival Award" With her songs she partecipated in: - "Premio nazionale per la canzone d'autore al femminile Bianca d'Aponte" - The "Rockin Festival 2006" In 2007 she recorded the album, not published yet, "La mia generazione ferma" (My still generation), consiting of 12 inedited songs, of which Claudia is author of both music and lyrics, the songs were recorded and mixed with the collaboration of Salvio Vassallo, who also realized the instrumental arrangements. In 2007 Claudia took part to the famous Italian saxophonist James Senese's tour as the opening band; she played, with artists like: Stadio, Mogol, Masini, at the "Festa degli Studenti" in Piazza del Plebiscito, broadcasted by Radioitalia TV. She sang at the "Festa Europea della Musica" and at the "Concerto per Scampia", with the most famous names of the Neapolitan music scene. She was also a guest of the "Inedito per Maria Festival" in Terni and of "A world of peace 2008" From 2008 she has collaborated in the project of the composer-guitarist Riccardo Prencipe (Corde Oblique), recording two songs in the album "The Stones of Naples" (Audioglobe 2009) and, at the same time, singing as the main vocalist in the mini-tour 2009, in Italy (Milan, Rome, Naples) and abroad: Paris (La Locomotive), Clisson (France), Leipzig (Germany - Wave Gotik Treffen 2009), Frankfurt, Huy (Belgium); sharing the stage with many artists of the Italian and European alternative scene like: Anathema, Ashram, Argine and L'Ame Immortelle.
