Chris began composing at an early age, writing for the Harrogate International Music Festival whilst still a teenager, under the tutelage of composer Steve Martland. He went on to study music at the University of Westminster and Royal College Of Music, London, where he was mentored by film-makers and composers including Anthony Minghella, Gabriel Yared, Debbie Wiseman, Dario Marianelli and Nigel Hess. Since graduating, Chris has performed with artists such as Busted, McFly, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Sugababes; and composed for shows as diverse as Newsround, Strictly Dance Fever, Sorry, I've Got No Head, National Lottery: Big 7, Ross Noble, Dead Ringers, and Spain's Tele Madrid News, winning a Silver Broadcast Design Award for Best News Theme. He co-wrote the theme song to the BAFTA-nominated childrens television series, Space Pirates with Darren Loveday.

The British DJ, Chris Moyles popularised the song by playing it on his radio show, hoping to get it into the UK charts and beat The X Factor Christmas single, When You Believe. It was unsuccessful, but the song spent a 11 weeks at #1 on the iTunes Childrens' Chart. Read more on Last.fm.
