In 2005 she began recording albums with her husband Akito Katayose(of Great 3) under the name Chocolat & Akito. 2-Chocolat is a francophone psychedelic pop band from Montreal. As the feral child of the Montreal indie music scene, Chocolat forgo pretension for passion, with their dirty, retro futuristic mix of psychedelic garage and bluesy, folk-rock. Dylanesque crooning glides over frenzied riffs, serpentine basslines, greasy organs and pounding drums. Chocolat brings together musicians of both notoriety and pedigree from Montreal's rock 'n' roll community, including Jimmy Hunt on vocals, harmonica and guitar, Martin Chouinard on piano, Dale Macdonald (Cockroaches, Red Mass) on guitar, Ysael Pepin (Demon’s Claws) on bass and Brian Hilderbrand (Demon’s Claws) on drums. Having released their first full-length album Piano Élégant in early 2008 with Grosse Boite Records, they are now working on new songs as well as planning to re-release their first self-titled EP "Chocolat" with Semprini Records. 3- Chocolat (Hangul: 쇼콜라), commonly stylized as ChoColat, is a South Korean girl group created by Paramount Music in 2011.
Their group name means "Chocolate" in French. Their name was chosen because the different characters of the members would remind people of different types of chocolate. However, due to there already being a group with the name Chocolate, the French translation was chosen as their group name to set themselves apart from that unit. The group consists of five members: three are mixed race Korean, (Juliane, Tia, Melanie), and the other two are Korean (Min Soa, Jae Yoon). Read more on Last.fm.
