They performed traditional and contemporary Celtic folk music at Houston venues such as McGonigel's Mucky Duck, Garden in the Heights, and The Red Lion. They performed in various Texas venues and the Midwest, including the North Texas Irish Festival, and toured Ireland with the Furey Brothers. The original Muse lineup from 1989-1993 was Maggie Drennon, then known as Stephanie, a graduate of High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and Mary Maddux on 12-string acoustic guitar.

In 1994 Maggie and Mary were joined by vocalist Melanie O'Sullivan on Chuck Ivy on Bass guitar and Chapman Stick. In 1995 Mary moved to Connecticut and local artist Lia Salo filled in on guitar that year. In 1996 guitarist Anders Johannsen joined the group and Melanie O'Sullivan left to perform with Encarnation. Chuck Ivy left the band in 1997. Drummer Wolf Loescher joined that year along with Mike Beyers on guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki. The group disbanded in 1997, and Maggie continued to perform as frontwoman for SixMileBridge which disbanded in 2001.

Maggie's latest project is The Maggie Drennon Band.
