A new album by Catscan! called Challenger Deep is coming out on February 17, 2015 and will be available digitally via bandcamp and physically on compact disc. Catscan! can be seen playing around in and around Washington DC. They’ve played Rock n’ Roll Hotel in DC, Jammin’ Java in Vienna, VA, The Sidebar in Baltimore, MD, Canal Club in Richmond, VA, Galaxy Hut in Arlington, VA, Don Pedro in NYC, and many more. They aim to do a tour of the east coast at the end of the year. Mason Shelby and Paul Tsiaperas are not brothers, but they may as well be. The boys began songwriting together way back in the year 2000 when they decided that being in a band would be a good way to get girlfriends.

They've been rocking ever since and will be celebrating their 15 year anniversary as a band this year. Now, the period of time during which they’ve been in a band is actually longer than the period of their lives in which they weren’t. It’s all they know at this point. Read more on Last.fm.
