David Tillman joined in the middle of the creation of their first album, “In Anima”, which was released on December 28th, 2008. After the completion of “In Anima”, Matt Buckley ceased membership on account of an increasingly busy schedule, reducing the band to a trio once again. On March 6th, 2009, “Ex Anima”, the band’s second album, was released. It expands upon the concepts introduced in the first and brings it to a close.

Both of the albums collectively deal with a story: the first part told from the abstract view of the internal mind and the second more specifically in the realm of external reality. The band released their third album on February 7th, 2010, titled "Ask the Machine". David Tillman left the band mid-recording of this album, reducing the line-up to Alex Browne and Danny Walton.
