Their inspiration for the name, and many of their tracks came from their chemistry teacher; named 'Mr.Carter'. Who they both hated with a fiery passion. After every school day, they would mess around back at Cat's house.

Which led to recording random noises on their mobile phones. This lead to their first track 'Sweat Patch', which was about..a sweat patch! Which used to form on their chemistry teacher's back, as their class was a huge handful. In total Carter Airways has 13 tracks, all with durations of up to 3 minutes. Although not all of their songs were just noise, this was just the first 5-8 tracks. When both of them decided to become a bit more 'weird', they added bass riffs from Cat, and small guitar solos and rythmn by Sophie. With screaming and shouting by the both. The one track named 'Too Late', was originally by their second band 'Sympathy Abortions', and not about their chemistry teacher but a joking break up. In 2008 Carter Airways disbanded, and went their seperate ways..THE END! Read more on Last.fm.
