Never ones to say no to playing live or drinking the last beer in your fridge, Carpenters Union is setting out on a well-beaten path to relative obscurity in the burgeoning Canadian indie music scene.
And if they don't ride the coat-tails of similar sounding bands before them (Joel Plaskett Emergency, Wheat Pool, Matthew Barber, Justin Rutledge) to gain "oh-ya, i heard of them" recognition, they'll at least have fun telling girls lies about touring with Blue Rodeo and the Rheostatics.
