Canadian-born, London-based Carly Paradis is a composer and pianist for film and TV. Debut Album 'Hearts To Symphony' available on iTunes and Amazon now. Bored of being a part-time teacher/part-time musician in her hometown of Hamilton, Canada, she decided to MySpace her favourite composer Clint Mansell (Requiem For A Dream, The Wrestler, Black Swan) in the faint hope that he would give her some advice. Instead, he listened to her music and hired her. After joining him to perform live across the world as his pianist, she recorded piano on Mansell's soundtrack to Duncan Jones' BAFTA Award winning Moon. Now based in the UK, she gained worked as lead composer on BBC TV series Line Of Duty, while also having her music placed in trailers for Angelina Jolie's In The Land Of Blood And Honey, Ironman 3 and Martin Scorsese's Hugo. It was this early success that funded a debut album that has travelled thousands of miles in it's making, written and produced alone in a bedroom, but recorded wherever Carly could find the right people to realise her vision.

The result is 'Hearts To Symphony', which is what happens when someone can't separate their Frederick Chopin and Trent Reznor obsessions. Debut album 'Hearts To Symphony', sees her push the boundaries some. It’s a spectacularly ambitious, 100% independent ‘bedroom’ album with a cast of dozens, flitting from cinematic to scary, from heartfelt to head melt, and from catchy to crestfallen.
