New Haven, Connecticut's Cameraface was formed in 1988 by Ron Sutfin and Kerry Miller after the breakup of Valley of Kings. VOK soundman Tom Wolf played bass in Cameraface with Rich Hulett of the Dum Dum Boys on guitar. They were later replaced by Thor Moser on bass & David "Vid" Walker (VMJ) on guitar. Their video for "Bite of Love" (starring Mark Mulcahy of Miracle Legion) was shown on MTV's "Basement Tapes" in December 1988.
