Through many line-up changes, the band was joined by members, Dan Becker and Josh Perrone. Dan, who plays bass and sings backup vocals, lived down the street from the brothers and officially joined the group in January 2010. Josh came to the group as the lead guitarist and backup vocalist in August of 2010. “Thank god for craigslist!” Josh said after his first show with the band.
Together, the four members put on an amazing live performance and have you singing their songs after the show. C2A’s unique sound has captured every single audience they have played for and left them wanting more. The release of Call To Attraction’s newest EP, This One’s For You, has sky-rocketed the bands popularity nationwide. The 4-track CD, released in January 2011, showcases C2A’s catchy and addictive songs to listeners of all ages. “Major key hooks are placed everywhere in all of the songs” says Ryan.
“This One’s For You” was recorded at Soundscape Studios in McKeesport, PA. The record was produced by Ryan Wood and co-produced by Doug Kasper, owner of Soundscape Studios. The band had two self-released CD’s entitled, Something Like This… (Jan ’09) and Shout It Out (Jan ’10). Both albums are currently available on iTunes. From those two releases, four songs made it to regular rotation on 105.9 The X in Pittsburgh. Call To Attraction has shared the stage with national acts such as: The Bigger Lights, For The Foxes, Hawthorne Heights, The Scenic, Breathe Carolina, Artist Vs.
Poet, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Valencia, Mest, Amber Pacific, Houston Calls, Fight Fair, Farewell, The Unseen, Mercy Mercedes, The Dangerous Summer, Between The Trees, Single File and Rookie of the Year. The band also earned an EIY slot on the Kevin Says stage at Warped Tour ‘09. Call To Attraction has completed 2 successful summer tours (2008 and 2009) up and down the east coast.
