Br00talizer is an acoustic grindcore band, formed in Shanghai, China in 2008. The band's lineup consists of Necrozoid, Corpsemutilator and Vomitorium (otherwise known as Count Vomitorium Von Malicious); all three contributing guitars, bass, drum programming and vocals. The band has been on an inconsistent hiatus since September 2011 due to a shift in all three members' base of operations. In between producing their third album, a shift to a "more swagstep-y, grindhouse-ish" sound, the trio has continued sporadically releasing singles and EPs, most recently 2012's "EP Like a Bau5 Dubstep". A 2012 review of Br00talizer's 2008 debut, 'I Decapitated Your Hamster!!': "this is a pure joke band. this is wannabe grindcore played with what appears to be a battery-operated amp, a drum machine, and a shit ass recorder.

the lyrucs are dumb as fuck. the sex jokes are really really lame. the mickey mouse jokes i just don't find all that funny. from what i hear the band is from china.

at least it's not pretending to be more than a joke. the last track is a napalm death cover. i really don't know what else to say about this thing. you should listen to it once and just once.

after that you may not ever want too" Debut album 'I Decapitated Your Hamster' was digitally reissued in January, 2010, by underground weblabel Obombration , and was made available for free download at: http://www.archive.org/details/IDecapitatedYourHamster2009. Sophomore record 'Too Tr00 For School' was released on October 12, 2010, to (very) critical acclaim. It is available for free download here: http://www.last.fm/music/Br00talizer/Too+Tr00+For+School The band's influence is clearly noticeable on albums by bands as varied as Chainsaw to the Face, Cock and Ball Torture and Anal Blast, and their sound is notable due to its unique combination of blast beats, distorted guitars and screamed vocals. Somewhat oddly for a band occasionally labelled post-protopornocrunkgrindcore-hop, acoustic guitars are often utilised in their music, complementing the structurally, rhythmically and lyrically complex soundscapes crafted. As for influences, the three have often cited 'grindcore' as a constant point of reference. Br00talizer experienced tremendous popularity within the growing Shanghai music scene, after the release of debut LP "I Decapitated Your Hamster!!".

The album featured a range of guest musicians, including Mickey Mouse and Conrad. With the success of the album, as well as the "Fuck" and "You Have No College Fund" singles, the band received a contract extension with super obscure and underground label Backstab Records. With anticipation of the follow up album at a feverish high, the trio released a slew of EPs and split releases, including "Your Style Sucks", "Live on the BBC: Br00tal Broadcasting Corporation", "A Pile of Shit in My Ass", "Drive By Homicide" (a split-EP with Spanish electrogrind band Love Through Cannibalism), "Songs of the Summertime", and "Stabby Birthday, Corpsemutilator!" (a split-EP with rappers Jizzy-T & Zha Rule), with all but "Live on the BBC..." showcasing all new material. Sophomore LP "Too Tr00 For School" was released in 2010, showcasing a less chaotic, more structured sound; lead singles 'You Take Core Math' and the title track featuring catchy, melodic choruses, polarising fans of their debut album. However, for the majority of the record, the group's raw, grinding sound remained intact. On the 14th of May, 2009 (at 7:40 PM), Necrozoid left the band, citing musical differences, and questioning the remaining duo's musical integrity. Relations between Vomitorium and Corpsemutilator worsened, and Vomitorium followed Necrozoid, in departing the band.

It seemed that Br00talizer had become a Corpsemutilator solo project. However, in a dramatic turn of events, at 8:45 PM on the same day, Necrozoid rejoined Corpsemutilator in the band, and Vomitorium, who had, by that time recorded a solo EP (under the name "Count Vomitorium Von Malicious"), soon followed suit. On June 30th, 2009, a controversial and crucial event in Br00talizer's history occurred, as Vomitorium re-stringed his signature Fender Stratocaster (nicknamed the Stratocastrater). The band had previously recorded all electric guitar parts, on every album barring the "Live at the BBC" EP, using that guitar, which had been missing a high 'E' string. After it was announced that the upcoming record would include a six-string electric guitar, much debate ensued over the sound of upcoming releases. Vomitorium and Necrozoid are also involved in a deathcore project, known as Disembowelled From Within.

The duo wrote and recorded a three song EP ("Unwilling Organ Donour"), and plans for a split EP with Br00talizer have been set in place.
