Originally named bluebirds, but forced to change their name due to an American band already claiming that name. Each band member can play multiple instruments which makes for interesting live sets with many changes in lead singer, lead guitarist, and sometimes even Tim on the kazoo. The first studio album, bottom dollar, takes it's name from a (now closed) shop in Stalybridge, the home town of the band. The album art also has pictures of other places in Stalybridge, such as the tripe and sandwich shop. Bluebird Kid Clark get regular airplay on stations local to Manchester, such as X fm but have, as yet, failed to break into the mainstream, however with a snowballing fan base this is looking to change, the future is indeed bright for Bluebird Kid Clark.
