The four young musicians united under the name of BluePearl in January 2006 in the bake house of an old bakery. Since 2009 their lives have been turned upside down. Several concerts held at well known locations and festivals, like the FM4 Frequency Festival in Austria (with international acts like Farin Urlaub, Radiohead or Bloc Party), the nomination for the “kleiner Prix Walo”, the main newcomer award in Switzerland, have been important accomplishments on their way to the music-olymp. With their first single “Let You Go” they would like to add on to those many achievements.
The song was produced by Florian Schär, owner of the FloTown Studios, who was involved in the success stories of several national Swiss acts such as Sektion Kuchikästli, Greis and Breitbild. For the summer of 2010 the guys have planned several shows as well as the completion of their second album. The aim is to attract the attention of more people with their music. Current work: The Song „Let You Go“ immediately goes beneath the skin! It is about leaving old things behind and the longing of a better life.
It is one of the most personal lyrics, which he has ever written, says Mike (lead vocals and guitar). The song lyrics describe real feelings to which a lot of people can relate to.
