At that point, they choose the name Blatoidea, inspired by the Latin word for the name of the genus which cockroaches belong to. The name is a metaphor to today society. Doesn't matter how much we struggle to get a better position in the system, how many wars we win or lose, we are all on the same level, we are the same race, same species, nothing but cockroaches in the eyes of the ones who control the entire thing and they can get rid of all of us in the same way they can get rid them.

They record their first demo "Start an Infection" containing 8 tracks and release it online. Few months after, Fabrizio (drums) joins the band, and they can set up their first tour in Italy. Afterwards, the three original members decide to move to London where, after few months, Luke (drums) joins the band and the band gets back to stages. After a long series of shows around London and sharing the stage with bands like GBH, Anti-Nowhere League, English Dogs, the Restarts, Sick on the Bus, Angelic Upstarts, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, 999, DIscharge, the Varukers, Vice Squad, Red Flag 77, they finally decide to record a new 4 tracks EP called "Alive".

After the release, they tour around Europe and in the December 2011 they record their first 11 tracks album called "Infected". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
