In collaboration with Thomas Sinclair, Black Turtleneck takes Solvent's patented melodic electro sound one step closer to the classic synthpop stylings of Soft Cell, The Human League and Depeche Mode. Musical Chairs, Black Turtleneck's debut album, to be released on Normals Welcome Records in June 2006, contains 11 modern, complex synthesizer pop songs for the introspective Black Turtleneck set — working the day job in silent contempt with dreams of leaving, songs about clublife for people who don't like clubs, and window shopping melodies for those feeling spent...
