Bird's Eye View was a Classic Rock meets Modern Rock band from Saint John, NB Canada. Members were: Matt Creamer - Vocals, Guitar Joe Ross - Lead Guitar Sean McGrath - Bass Craig James - Guitar Terrence Ross - Drums At the time the band dissolved they decided to release their debut album (In Between Breathing) for free on the internet. Bio prior to breaking up: Behind the modern rock sound and energetic live show, there are four unique personalities, simple chord progressions, and songs that just about anyone can relate to. Hailing from the small port city of Saint John, New Brunswick (Canada), Bird's Eye View are finding themselves becoming more and more infatuated with writing music and playing live shows. "It's come to the point where every time we write something together, it always explodes into this huge pile of ideas that eventually inspires and results in several other songs." says bassist Sean McGrath, "It's becoming an [amazing] never-ending cycle of song writing." Although Sean is currently living in Fredericton, NB while the rest of the band lives in Saint John, Bird's Eye View show no signs of a band separated by such boundaries.

Since the separation occurred (summer 2002) the band has played more shows than ever (including the Canada Day Battle of the Bands @ The 3 Mile in which they placed first) and has had time to write the majority of the songs that will appear on their upcoming album. Since the formation of the band in October 2001, BEV has gone on to play many shows in the Saint John area, building a devoted fan base with their independently released four song demo. Recorded after their second day of practice, the demo, although rough, definitely shows promise for the future releases of the band. During the summer of 2004 the band entered the studio to laydown 12 songs for their first full length album.

The recording was done at Polyblend Studios in Halifax, Nova Scotia with Michael Knappe working doing the producing. Shortly after the recording process was complete, founding member Craig James had to leave the band due to personal reasons, which left vocalist Matt Creamer to take his place on rhythm guitar.
