To coincide with the track's release as a single, the pair were invited to perform 'In Love' on the US talk show 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'. In 2000, Bill and Ben appeared together in three TV commercials for the website Priceline.com; two in which Shatner raps about Priceline while a cast of musicians (including Folds) jams around him and one that revolves around Folds, at a piano, performing a cover of Do You Know Where You're Going To with Shatner singing along. For his second studio album, Has Been, Shatner enlisted Folds as producer. Ben also played a number of instruments on the record and provides vocals on Common People and That's Me Trying. Folds and Shatner most recently worked together on a rewritten version of Rockin' The Suburbs, which appears in the 2006 animated movie 'Over The Hedge'.

The film stars Shatner as a possum called Ozzie who is particularly good at performing Shakespearean death scenes and six new Ben Folds recordings appear on the soundtrack. Rockin' The Suburbs (Over The Hedge version) features Shatner playing an overconcerned neighbour discussing flower beds, dogs and anger management classes. Read more on Last.fm.
