Becca June is a Country recording artist from North Carolina. Currently she is working on her debut album, Country Spirit, at Walker Studios (Guy Walker). She has released four singles. Her newest, Bring My Daddy Home, was written with our military in mind; "When I began writing Bring My Daddy Home I had my sights set on telling the story of how my Dad couldn't be home for Christmas this past year (2009).

But as I wrote I realized how much it pertained to our Troops' families." She continues to touch the hearts of listeners as she raises awareness about a sad truth, "Our Troops have no control over where they are stationed, and how far away they are from their families. It's hard to be apart from a loved one, it hurts, especially during Christmas." This Christmas Becca June's father will be home, "I am one of the fortunate ones. Bring My Daddy Home is for our Troops' families." Her single "One Last Memory" is available now on iTunes, as well as her BRAND new release "Selections From Country Spirit" which includes the Unplugged version of One Last Memory. The film is set to be released nation-wide in Summer of 2011. "The Director came to me and said 'we want a Folk Vietnam war-protest song set back in the 70s, can you do it?' I of course got exceedingly excited." Becca June explains the process of writing her song, "In the duration of two days I picked up my guitar, learned a few chords, figured out how to put words to music, did my research, and then I wrote my song. It was amazing learning experience!" To view No Land Of The Free go to Becca June's profile and play the video. (Comments are most welcome) Read more on Last.fm.
