(1.) The Slovenian pop-rock band Bazar was formed in the spring of 1984 by Danilo Kocjančič after he left his previous band Prizma. Danilo (who played bass guitar) was joined by the finest musicians Zdenko Cotić (guitar), Dušan Vran (drums), Marino Legovič (keyboard) and solo vocalist Slavko Ivančić. After two years Slavko Ivančić left the band and Igor Mermolja took his place. In eight years Bazar recorded two studio albums: self-titled Bazar (1988) and Amerika (1990). Read more on Last.fm

They played on many festivals and won three times the festival MMS.

They produced many evergreen hits like Dober dan, Portorož 1905, Amerika, Tina and Zate to name a few. After eight years and more than 1000 live shows they split in 1992. (2.) Bazar was also a quite political bluesy psych/progressive rock band from Norway with radical texts. They released two albums, Det er ikke enkelt in 1973 and Drabantbyrock in 1974.
