Babb Dylan was first discovered playing on the Stoke Grunge scene by musical prodigy Thomas Frost. Frost instantly spotted Babb as the Dylan of his generation in more than just name and signed him on the spot. Babbs first release under Frost's powerful Esoteric Label was entitled "Just a working Class Hero" a typically quirky title from Babb, considering Babb grew up in a stately home, the 3rd son of Lord Babb of Bradleyshire. Babb has also been known to dabble in arthouse films. His most notable and yet highly unsucessful film, "The Sunny Moon", was critically reviewed as being "so niche and pretentious, that most would regard it as s***".

The film is set partly in black and white, and partly in colour. Indeed the dialogue is all in French and yet confusingly subtitled in Spanish. The movie was only released in two small, single screen theatres, one being a now closed down screen near the city of uttoxeter. Contrary to popular belief, Babb Dylan composes many original tracks, though nearly all his most sucessful hits are covers of Bob Dylan tracks. Read more on Last.fm.
