Producer Mike Stock signed BND to his label Love This Records. Mike Stock and Matt Aitken, formerly of the hit machine Stock Aitken Waterman (that brought us Kylie Minogue, Mel & Kim, Jason Donovan and Rick Astley), went on to produce and write a few some songs on the debut album 'Here We Go'. At the time, Pete Waterman was working with various, mostly UK based artists, of which Steps would turn out to be the most successful and long-lasting. BND, however, had only minor success in the UK, Belgium and Germany.

In a press release to promote the debut album, producer Mike Stock states that he is "convinced that Mark and Dean are going to be huge pop stars." History proved him wrong, sadly.
