Another Sibling Rivalry is a Canadian project founded in 1998 by two brothers, "Ray B." and "Vanbraun", as an all-electronic + samples collaboration. With Ray B. located in Toronto, Ontario (Canada), and Vanbraun in Montreal, Quebec (Canada), the entire project was realized through the power of computers and the internet. Music files were passed back and forth between the two and slow molded, improvised, and polished into the final tracks. Each brother brought his own musical tastes and influences to each track. The final works share influences of 90's techno, euro dance, industrial, EBM and other electronic genres. The project remains unsigned and is currently on hiatus. Trivia: Originally was named The Sibling Rivalry and launched on the first incarnation of MP3.com. Subsequently, many other "Sibling Rivalry" bands were discovered and thus precipitated a name change to "Another Sibling Rivalry". Read more on Last.fm.
