In May 2009, the band began to record their second EP, nervous. The record marked a change in the band’s sound, introducing a higher fidelity production, a more textural atmosphere, and longer songs. It was released on New Jersey-based label tamur records in early August. In September, it was also released on the Netherlands-based web-label Rack & Ruin Records.
In August of 2009, bassist Damon Korf and drummer Daniel Kolpin joined the band, and Anna Bradley recorded the self-titled single "Anna Bradley," which was released online in January 2010 and saw a further increase in production quality while maintaining a lo fi edge. During December of 2009, the band (with the newly solidified line-up last seen on the "Anna Bradley" single) began recording their debut full-length album Pavo. It was eventually released online in September 2010, as well as in limited physical release by Valley Stream, Long Island-based label Nana's Records. By the time the album was released, Korf had left the band, to be replaced by Evan-Daniel Rose-González. In November, Daniel Fisher joined the band as a second guitarist.
In the beginning of 2011, the band worked together with director Seamus McGuire to record and release a music video for the Pavo track "Anna Bradley." In June, Anna Bradley released the self-recorded single "Perfume," which caught the attention of several prominent music blogs. Later in the summer of 2011, the band recorded a new four-song EP called Your Seamless Sons with Oliver Ignatius of Ghost Pal at his studio Mama Coco's Funky Kitchen in Brooklyn. It was released via their Bandcamp in September of that year. Following a yearlong hiatus and the departure of bassist Evan-Daniel Rose-Gonzalez, the band reconvened in the summer of 2012 to record their newest EP, The Last Great Day Before the Body Was Found, which they released in March of 2013. The record marks a change in the band's sound which manifests itself in shimmery guitar arpeggios, dark synth ambience and a more live feel.
