Andrey Klimkovsky was born in Moscow on February, 25th, 1969. In his youth, he dreamed of becoming an astronomer. At the age of 11, he started studying astronomy at the Moscow Planetarium, but at the same time developed a great interest in space music. He became the participant of musical group "ALRADO" in team of which was playing under the electric starry sky of the Planetarium. At the age of 11, he started studying astronomy at the Moscow Planetarium, but at the same time developed a great interest in space music. He became the participant of musical group "ALRADO" in team of which was playing under the electric starry sky of the Planetarium. At the age of 15, Andrey wrote some of his first musical compositions.

But a priority direction of his life continued to be the study of astronomy and after the completing study at the Planetarium, Andrey Klimkovsky joined the Moscow Physico-Technical Institute to become a specialist in the field of development of spacecraft and stations. Still, the love of music has appeared more strongly and in some years Andrey Klimkovsky comes back in the Moscow Planetarium and writes down musical programs for scoring lectures, collects adherents and creates "NEANE" group with which writes down new compositions and plays small concerts. In 1996 Andrey Klimkovsky creates own studio for record of electronic space music, and year later - label "NEANE Records". The first release of label " NEANE Records " - Andrey Klimkovsky's album "Music of Heavenly Spheres", part I - took place in May, 1997. Since then Andrey Klimkovsky lets out every year new albums and on a regular basis gives concerts. Sometimes the composer comes back to plays written in the childhood and writes down new versions of these compositions and as lets out albums on the basis of this material. In 1998 Andrey Klimkovsky gets acquainted with two talented musicians - Alexey Ostrovsky and Vyacheslav Kulikov.

Musicians were united also label "NEANE Records" has turned to creative association. Later participants of creative association "NEANE Records" repeatedly spent joint concerts and records of experimental compositions. Andrey Klimkovsky's creative cooperation was not limited to joint playing music with participants "NEANE Records". The composer many times acted and entered the name together with such musicians, as Sergey Sedykh and "IN FOLIO" group (Russia), Tandalay Modorova (Republic Altai), Olga Shcheglova ("Zemlyanichnaya Polyana" group, Russia), Gianeya Ruandil (Russia, the Far East), Alexander Sofiex (Byelorussia), Ivan Bryukhanov from the "Betelgeize" project (Byelorussia) and Igor Kolesnikov (Russia). With some musicians there was a long and prodactive cooperation.

So with guitarist Sergey Sedykh two joint albums of experimental music have been written down and the separate project "ALEALA" was created, and with guitarist-girl Julia Lomanova there was the creative duet "ELECTRODINAMICA", concert round of a duet proceeded the whole year, and on its results has been let out two concert albums. In current of long-term musical, studio and concert practice Andrey Klimkovsky has deeply studied many models of synthesizers. The writing the articles about electronic keyboards, carrying out the master-classes and lessons for beginning musicians became as the demanded and grateful employment in a life of the musician. For two decades of active musical life Andrey Klimkovsky has not lost love to astronomy. It on a regular basis participates in supervision and will organize expeditions, independently observes and photographes stars. As Andrey actively participates during popularization of a science and sometimes writes articles on an astronomical theme. Andrey Klimkovsky's one more strong hobby last years became marathon race.

Andrey - the active participant of running club IRC, has successfully overcome some marathon distances (42 km 195) and even participated with ultramarathon running having overcome run almost 60 km. Articles written by Andrey Klimkovsky and his racing experience have brought a lot of advantage to beginning runners who are going to overcome the first marathon or aspire to improve the results at competitions. Andrey Klimkovsky's interest to computer-graphics and to video-editing was reflected in quality of concerts of the composer. Since 2002 practically every concert of the musician pass all with bright and fascinating videosupport when on the screen over the stage during alive execution of compositions bright the stars, are carried by spacecrafts. In 2000 Andrey Klimkovsky has written down unusually lyrical album "Scarlet sails" filled by a theme of love and noise of the sea. Later the sea theme many times was shown in Andrey Klimkovsky's music. As creativity of the composer often there passes subjects of unknown depths in a human soul, Andrey Klimkovsky writes music of a historical and antique-mythological orientation, and at this moment, after returning from mountain expedition on Crimea peninsula, works on new as compositions written about beauty of mountains and valleys, the rough mountain rivers and weight of overcoming of passes and rises to mountain's tops.
