As of now, this very productive band has recorded five albums and many many EPs and three of the four members have started various other bands and solo carreers, the most famous one being Vomit Eater's one-man-band VRV. In 2004 they recorded their first single 'Anale Bezem'. The world had to wait until 2007 before they released their first studio album 'Neuk Nog Eens Een Kameleon (Of Zo), including the hit single 'Ga Jij Maar Zwemmen Eend'. Their second and most popular album was called 'Mongolen Horen Thuis In De Zoo', including FOUR hit singles! At the end of 2008, they made their own version of Tom Helsen's 'Goodbye', which could be heard for at least 15 seconds on the commercial radio station Studio Brussel. In 2009, the band got more experimental with their third studio album 'Laat Je Hond Thuis Schijten, Viespeuk', with, among other great songs, their big hit single 'Dildonacht'.
2010 saw the release of their fourth album 'Zonnebloemen Zijn Mooi', where the band flirts with the idea of thematical patterns and long epical songs consisting of several parts. There are many ballads on the album and especially the single 'Retezot' was a big success. In 2011, the band released their fifth album 'U Mag Nu de Bruid Kussen', which is heavily influenced by electronic music, as the band started to work with a Monotron and with computer-processed beats. Currently, Anale Bezem is being coached by Vitalski, and is working on an absurd theater show (as part of 'Kraak het Cultuurhuis'), which they will perform only once, on 20 May 2011 at CC Luchtbal in Antwerp.
