She has allegedly said that her immersion in gay culture is probably an attempt to feel closer to him, as they never had a very deep relationship whilst he was alive. Following this article several British newspapers said Ana was allegedly trying to contact her late father's partner.
She angrily refutes this on the band's official messageboard, saying that he had been a very important parental figure in her life and she did not need such measures to contact him.
