Amy was born in Paragould, Arkansas on April 28, 1974. By the time she was a teenager she was performing everywhere she could. She grew up on country music with influences from rock, gospel, and blues which colored the sound that eventually was to become so uniquely hers. At 14, she had the privilege to record with Sawyer Brown at Studio 19 in Nashville and at 16, with the group Exile in Kentucky. At 14, she had the privilege to record with Sawyer Brown at Studio 19 in Nashville and at 16, with the group Exile in Kentucky. Her memorable career is highlighted by performances alongside legendary entertainers like David Frizzell, Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Restless Heart, Neal McCoy, Mel Tillis, Clint Black, Lee Ann Womack, plus many others. Amy has been described as one of the most energetic entertainers of today, with a show that varies from traditional country to rockin' original country songs to gospel, her favorite part of the show. Once you've seen her, you'll be a fan! Amy is expanding her following nationwide, performing numerous shows each year. In 2006, she self-produced "Cowboy Up!", which reflects her full-bodied voice filled with sincerity and the energy felt in her live performance. Amy is enjoying her first nationwide radio release with duet partner David Frizzell on the critically acclaimed song "Why Wasn't It Me".

Frizzell included this song on his newest project, "Frizzell and Friends", a compilation of duets with some of the most legendary voices in country music. The album received nine Grammy nominations and is topping charts in Europe. In 2008, the album won the European CMA's Vocal Collaboration of the Year award. Amy is looking forward to the future and where music will take her. This year is sure to be full of big things here in the U.S.A., Europe and South America.
