Amazing Meet Project

Amazing Meet Project is the third major project for former DOG & Love in Reverse collaborators: Michael Ferentino and Andres Karu. The music is more acoustic and psychedelic than the electronic style of Love in Reverse. Their debut album Undrugged featured the guitar and voice of Michael Ferentino and the bass and drumming of Andres Karu (who is also the Engineer on the album--Michael & Andres co-produce). The band was rounded out by: Kathy Harrison (vocals), Johnny Crisis (percussion & vocals), Joie (percussion, drums). Read more on Last.fm

In late in '99 there was some conflict & a change in the band's line-up. The revamped line-up was: Michael Ferentino (Guitars & Lead Vocals); Andres Karu (Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals); Virginia {Traut} (Vocals & -acoustic- Guitar) & Kristjan Karu (Bass & Background Vocals). This line-up never recorded but played live for a number of years. The final Amazing Meet Project recording Homeless Music, released on GIG Records in 2003 (in conjunction with Michael's 2nd solo effort: Boy.

Man. Robot. and the compilation/outtake release from Love In Reverse: Another One For You To Hate) was, essentially, NOT an "Amazing Meet Project album." Although it contained brand new music, the only contributors were, actually, Mr, Ferentino & Mr. Karu.

Essentially these were songs deigned to be for "other upcoming projects" but, where, either, the project itself or other involved elements … had collapsed. …So they had "no place" to go …to exist, really (therefore the title: Homeless Music).
