Allan O'Reilly is a solo multi-instrumentalist. Allan formerly toured with Eve Murphy. He has previously completed his debut solo instrumental CD, "Morrow", that was released in March, 1999. Subsequent CDs were later released.

He is a multi-talented musician which has enabled him to play every instrument on each disc. Allan played on one of Eve's CDs, "Matters of the Heart", which was recorded at Ligosa studios. Allan was also on a live television show with Eve Murphy. Allan also has done session work. This session work included drumming for a local movie soundtrack. Allan's ancestral heritage is Welsh, Scottish, Irish, and Cherokee.

Allan's first CD reflects this, but subsequent CDs have a more diverse sound. All of the songs are original songs that were entirely written and played by Allan. These songs are a mixture of traditional, blues, and rock. Allan's CD projects normally take him a couple of years to make. All of the songs are created using track recording.

Allan does the Engineering, Recording, Production, Mixing, and Cover Designs. Allan normally plays the following instruments on his CDs: Yamaha acoustic drums, (Sabian, Paiste, and Zildjian cymbals), Remo percussion, Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, Fender Fat Strat, Gretsch Electromatic, Gibson SG electric guitar, Epiphone electric/acoustic mandolin, Fender Electric Mandolin, Fender Concord acoustic guitar, Carlos Robelli Classical guitar, Bodhran-Irish drum, Meisel electric violin, and Fender electric bass.
