The Afrobeat Academy horns can be heard (along with afrobeat icon Tony Allen on drums) on Kologbo's forthcoming album "Africa is the Future" The Afrobeat Academy was the backing band for Afropean rapper Bantu from 2005-2009. They performed at clubs and festivals in Germany, Holland, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland. In October 2007, they embarked on a month long tour in Ghana and Nigeria. This was an incredible experience for all, especially because the Afrobeat Academy met and performed with Ghanaian funk master Ebo Taylor! A new project was launched with Ebo Taylor in the summer of 2009.

Ebo Taylor and Afrobeat Academy performed sold out shows in Paris and Frankfurt and headed straight to the studio to record a new album, Ebo's first international release ever! Ebo Taylor and Afrobeat Academy, released October 22, 2010 on Strut Records- http://www.ebotaylor-loveanddeath.com Read more on Last.fm.
