There are many bands with the name "Acid Rain". 1) Latvian rock band with classic rock influences like Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Doors. 2) Serbian progressive power metal band from Belgrade, active 2003-2008, released one demo "Alpha" and one EP "Worlds Apart". (www.acidrain.tk) (www.myspace.com/acidrainluxembourg) 4) Other is the earliest incarnation of Idiot Flesh, and what later became Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, consisting of Nils Frykdahl, Dan Rathbun (the two whom continued to work in Sleepytime Gorilla Museum after Idiot Flesh's demise in 1998), Eugene Horace Jun and Wes Anderson. The band released a demo titled 'We Were All Very Worried' as Acid Rain in 1987, but changed their name to Idiot Flesh prior to the release of their first album 'Tales Of Instant Knowledge And Sure Death' in 1991 5) There is also a German street punk band Acid Rain from Berlin - http://www.myspace.com/acidrainberlin 6) In the punk genre there is a Malaysian street punk band from Penang.
