Abir Nasraoui is a Tunisian singer and musicologist born in 1976 in Kasserine, living in Paris. After earning a bachelor’s degree in literature in 1996, she pursued her studies in musicology and sociology. After earning a bachelor’s degree in literature in 1996, she pursued her studies in musicology and sociology. But even before the end of high school, Abir had already chosen to start a career in music as a singer. She performs in 1994 at arts events in the Arab world, including the Carthage festival, the music festival of Cairo with the Iraqi artist Nacir Chamma, the festival of the Medina of Tunis, and made a remarkable show at the prestigious International Festival of Carthage, "El Hadhra" in 1999. In 2003, Abir takes an active part in the cultural and artistic activities organized by the Arab World Institute in Paris. In addition to her obvious talent for singing, she has real literary knowledge.

She writes the lyrics of some of her songs, and also published a short story collection. In November 2005, she joined Radio Monte Carlo, where she presents the El Maghni show, which depicts the major musical figures of the early twentieth century up to the 70’s, highlighting the streams and important figures of "The Renaissance" of Arabic music. Then she presented several Tv programs such as "Ghanili", "Al Alem Moussika" and "Wa Nagham Dhikra" on RMC Doualiya TV. Abir also participated as a singer on tour of Elijah Achkar, Qanun virtuoso French, Jasser Haj Youssefgreat expert of Arabic music and sacred music. Abir is considered a great mastery of the Arabic song. With a captivating voice, she restores the poetic and spiritual dimensions of the repertoires of Oum Kalthoum, Asmahan and Mohammed Abdelwahab, not to mention the great master of the Arabic song, the Tunisian Hedi Jouini.

His first album "Heym", produced by the Arab World Institute, was born of the complicity of a group of Tunisian friends navigating between several cultures, including the poet Leila El Mekki and composer Skander Guetari.
