Cloud Machine wrote songs and played shows all through high school, gaining singnificant praise from fans and professionals alike. As (((AEB))) continued to produce material in line with the Cloud Machine sound, the sounds in his mind began to change into something quite far from anything he had done in Cloud Machine. Things were melting, others were turning black and brown, some glowed neon. It wasn't until joining local experimental punk band Elimination Dance that (((AEB))) was put in a musical situation that allowed him to deepen his knowledge of atonality, of abstract sound, and of course, spitting out firey licks on the guitar.
Taking no creative action in Elimination Dance, (((AEB))) used his time playing in concert with that band to study the harder side of electric guitar, while spending his summer nights studying the pristine chording of Simon and Garfunkel, as well as the ground-breaking vocal stylings of John Frusciante, The Velvet Underground and Captain Beefheart. Over the summer of 2006, work had finally begun on (((AEB)))'s most ambitious project yet, a far cry from the spontaneous highly improvised solo records he had done before. After a summer of demonic interactions and visitations, "The Oh-Six" presented itself. The record was well received by all the cats that were zany enough to buy it, and through out the following school year, (((AEB))) kept singin', practicin' and jammin'.
After school started to wind down, (((AEB))) was struck by lightning. In a few months, he recorded over 30 new song demos. Sometimes there were many demos done of the same song in order to iron out alternate arrangement ideas. (((AEB))), daunted by the task of performing this new much more complex material as a solo act, quickly assembled a crew of prog rockers to form THE AE BRIDGER BAND! Summer 2007 consisted of lengthy jams, learning the material off of "The Oh-Six" as well as polishing up material for the upcoming follow-up, tentatively titled "I Am a Ghostly Leech".......
