A Time To Stand
A Time To Stand
With this realization, a quest began to find members of similar attitude to start what would become their first band: the search for musicians who want to write music and party together began. Enter Bryan, ex-bassist of BrokenFrame. Wanting a different aspect of his musical talents, he found an ad placed searching for a singer. With no professional experience or training in this field, he proved to be a natural.
Needless to say, he was asked to provide fulltime vocals for the nameless band. Wanting a more distinguished sound, the band began its search for a second guitarist. A little time and patience paid off in the form of Tom (Dispatch). At the time he was without a band and had a string of unfulfilling bands, Tom added to Bryan's experience. And then the band was near completion, still nameless, contemplating possible ideas. Immediately with the addition of Tom, the band went searching for the missing piece of the puzzle, a man to lay down the low end on bass.
After a period of time, and "craptacular" auditions, Dan came into the picture. Another seasoned veteran, he fit the men like beer goes with music, perfectly. Dan has also stated that he is soley in this for the money and the women and that he'll be the reason for the band's train wreck break up in two years. Currently this band of ecleticism are licking their chops, writing more tunes, and having an overall great time. They like to play, and play what they like; and look for this to provide success in the future.
An already growing core group of fans provides evidence to this. And finally, while the band has yet to face major troubles, each mourns and dedicates their love of life and music to Tom's first kitten, Mittens. While Mittens was solid in color, she continues to battle Feline Leukemia, providing inspiration to A Time to Stand, and cats around the world. God rest her soul when she enters her afterlife.
