Á Túr were a "hardcore feminist" band signed to Iceland's eclectic Smekkleysa label during the 90s. Despite this fearsome sounding description their music was as beautiful as it was (sometimes) brutal. They produced an album, Píka, mixed by Jónsi (Sigur Rós) which is available via iTunes.
